Katya Salomão is a passionate visionary whose life story combines the discipline of dance, the richness of her Syrian heritage, and the scientific precision of an International Olive Oil Sommelier. Founder and CEO of Kochen Flavored Olive Oils, Katya has transformed her passion for health and gastronomy into a mission: to elevate the palates of her clients and inspire memorable moments around the table.

Katya Salomão is an International Olive Oil Sommelier with world-renowned training. She is certified by the Associazione Italiana Conoscere I Olie d'Oliva (AICOO) in Italy, the Faculty of Chemistry at UDELAR in Uruguay, IRVEA in Australia, and is an International Taster certified by ONAOO in Italy.

This expertise is at the heart of Kochen, which, under her leadership, has become an international benchmark, with flavored olive oils that won awards in 2022, 2023, and 2024 at the EVO IOOC competition, the most prestigious in the sector. In addition, it won the award for BEST FLAVORED OLIVE OIL IN THE WORLD in 2024 with its MINT flavor.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, Katya is the creator of the "From Olive to Olive Oil" Masterclass and a professor at ABS-MG, where she shares her experience and inspires new ways to explore the world of olive oils. Her work is guided by the desire to provide unique sensory experiences and unforgettable moments around the table.
